Understanding Your Body Scan Results

Your Arc body scan provides five key scores, each rated from 0 to 100:

  • Overall: Gives you a quick snapshot, combining all metrics into one easy-to-understand rating, allowing you to see your progress at a glance.

  • Potential: Assesses your growth capability based on your current physique. It helps indicate how quickly you might reach your fitness goals with consistent training and effort.

  • Aesthetics: Measures the overall attractiveness of your physique, highlighting desirable body proportions such as an hourglass figure or a pronounced V-taper, indicating balanced and visually appealing development.

  • Definition: Evaluates the clarity and visibility of your muscles. A higher definition score reflects leaner, sharper muscle visibility, showcasing your muscular development and conditioning.

  • Symmetry: Assesses the balance of muscle development between both sides of your body. Achieving symmetry ensures that your physique looks balanced and proportionate from every angle.

Taking Optimal Progress Photos

To best capture your progress, wear minimal, form-fitting clothing such as shorts or fitted activewear, which clearly highlights changes in your physique. Take your photos consistently at the same time of day, ideally in natural, consistent lighting such as morning daylight near a window. Use front-facing or side profiles, standing upright with relaxed posture. Choose a plain, uncluttered background for clarity and it's recommended to take a new photo every month so that visible progress is clear.
